Honor women who served: Purchase a Women Veterans License Plate and Support the Veterans’ Trust Fund
ANNVILLE, PA—As we celebrate Women’s History Month in March, the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) reminds drivers that purchasing a women veterans license plate recognizes the importance of women who served and supports programs assisting the more than 62,000 women veterans living in Pennsylvania.

Chester and Darby Mayor’s Read to Chester Scholars for Read Across America
The National Education Association established Read Across America in 1998 to encourage children to read, with the purposeful scheduling to coincide with the March 2nd birthday of the beloved Dr. Seuss. It has grown from a single-day initiative into a week-long celebration. While originally focused on Dr. Seuss books, the program has evolved to emphasize diverse books and reading throughout the year.
